Luna is a stunning dark bay Oldenburg mare with a truly exquisite head. By Gatsby (Gonzo I) out of the Holsteiner mare Schefflera (Fabio I), Luna's bloodlines boast ancestors that excelled in many disciplines, making her a fine example of “sport horse” breeding. She has powerful, balanced gaits and a fabulous temperament that she has passed to her foals.
Luna was Champion Non-Hanoverian Mare at her American Hanoverian Society mare inspection in 2021 and was placed in the Main Mare book. In 2024, Luna earned Premium at her Oldenburg NA inspection and was added to the Mare Book. Her 2024 filly by Holsteiner stallion Central Time, Cassiopeia BWS, was inspected at the same time and also earned Premium.
Under saddle, Luna is willing and forward without being hot. Although in training for dressage, she has shown significant aptitude for jumping and is keen to get out and cover some ground. Her bloodlines, skill set and temperament make her a fabulous dam for all disciplines. She is currently pursuing her training/show career but we are open to her having another foal at some point in the future.
Luna's sire is Gatsby, a 17hh black Oldenburg stallion by Gonzo I. Gatsby is known for passing on his uphill build, long legs, lovely neck/topline, beautiful head, laid back shoulder and strong loin connection. His offspring also tend to inherit his beautiful suspension, natural uphill movement, cadence, shoulder freedom and excellent canter.

This foal will be a full sibling to the 2024 Gold Medal / Top Foal, Valor BWF and the 2026 Gold Medal / Top Foal, Veuve Clicquot BWS. Velantis foal crops have yielded several AHS Gold Medal winners and Premium foals from a wide variety of mare types. Given the superb quality of their first two foals together, we expect great things from this third pairing of Velantis & Divina!
Sire Velantis N, a 2018, 17.2 hh Hanoverian stallion by Vitalis, is an exciting choice for North American breeders. When paying attention to the European breeding scene, you can’t help but notice that Velantis’ pedigree combination is highly sought after. Those horses carrying his lines show quality, rideability and are sold at record prices.
Velantis himself is true to his proven pedigree. Christian Hartung, his rider, says: "Working with Velantis has been an amazing experience from day one. He is very intelligent, focused, and a quick learner no matter what I ask of him.
In 2022 a successful first season in the showring was followed by stallion licensing and a successful stallion performance test scoring 8,7.5,8,8,8 -7.9 overall, ranking him as youngest and top 5 out of 17 stallions presented in North America. Velantis’ numerous scores over 80% in FEI classes fulfilled his performance requirements granting him lifetime breeding approval in 2023.
Velantis has accumulated an incredible show record for a young stallion. His wins are too many to list, but highlights include winning every class he entered in 2024, including CDS 6 yr old futurity and 2nd level championship. Velantis was named 2025 CDS Horse of the Year Third Level Champion with his 74.6% score and was the CDS Third level Grand Champion. Even more special, this marked the fourth year in a row that he won both the CDS and USDF Championships in the same year.
Dam Divina Dom Perignon is a stunning imported mare by Divine Étincelle out of Fire and Ice (For Compliment). Trained up to Prix St. George, she is incredibly light and responsive to the aids, making her great fun to ride.
In 2021, Vega was inspected for the American Hanoverian Society Mare Book and received 8s for her conformation, gaits, type, impulsion and overall impression. In 2025, Vega successfully completed her American Hanoverian Society Mare Performance Test and earned the title of Elite Mare.

This will be the second all-star pairing between Belissa and Velantis! Belissa's 2026 filly by Velantis, Vespera BWS, is her mini-me; refined and gorgeous just like her mama! We made the decision not to offer Vespera and instead, we are keeping her for the future.
Belissa is back in foal by Velantis N for a full sibling in 2027. Since we retained Vespera, this foal will likely be offered.

Dam CM Belissa SVS has it all – looks, ability and attitude! Belissa had a highly successful dressage career, schooling Grand Prix and winning in competition up through Intermediate II. Her quality and performance record have earned her the Competition Mare and Elite Mare titles with American Hanoverian Society.
Belissa’s sire and damsire bring two of the most sought-after dressage bloodlines to her spectacular pedigree. Her sire, the Rhinelander foundation stallion Belissimo M, proved his value as an international Grand Prix horse and captured the hearts of breeders around the world by passing on his beauty, rideability and athleticism to his offspring. Belissimo M was the 2018 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and has over 50 approved/licensed sons and over 80 state premium daughters.
Belissa’s damsire, Hohenstein, was declared Elite in 1999 due to his outstanding performance in both breeding and sport and was named the 2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year. He has produced 12 approved sons, most famously Munchausen and more recently, His Highness. He is also known for producing high-quality mares, including the state premium mares Heidefee and Honeymoon B.
