Our Mares

Finesse

BREED: Oldenburg | DOB: 2008 | HEIGHT:  17 | WFFS: N/N

Finesse is a lovely dark bay Oldenburg mare by Festrausch out of the renowned Grand Prix dressage mare Breanna (Brentano II / Weltmeyer). Following in her dam’s footsteps, Finesse also competed successfully through Grand Prix. Among her career highlights were her impressive 2020 Temecula CDI3* wins in the Grand Prix (70.391%) and Special (70.319%) with Jennifer Hoffman.

Finesse’s sire, Westfalen stallion Festrausch (Florestan / Carprilli) was characterized by Hilltop Farm as having “a very positive influence on North American breeding.”  Festrausch sired an approved son, multiple Premium mares and foals, Devon Champions and USDF All-Breed winners, and himself competed up to Prix St. Georges.

Finesse will be bred to 16.3h Hanoverian stallion Sanceo (San Remo / Ramiro’s Son II) for a 2027 foal. Sanceo is one of the most decorated dressage stallions in North America today. He and his trainer/rider Sabine Schut-Kerry led team USA in capturing the silver medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. The pair’s Grand Prix Special was breathtaking and earned a score of 81.596%.

Sabine had the following to say about Finesse and Sanceo:

"Finesse is not only a beautiful mare with great conformation, but what I love most about her is her intelligence, talent, work ethic, and impeccable character. She always shows up ready to work and has a genuine desire to have a connection with her rider and person! Her show record speaks for itself no matter if she is in the ring with a professional rider or with her long time (previous) owner Lisa Bradley, helping Lisa to fulfill her dreams in and out of the saddle. With her athleticism and three quality gaits, I am excited to follow the next chapter of her life as a broodmare.

This is a truly exciting combination between Finesse and Sanceo. Both horses are absolute high-performance athletes with the biggest hearts, work ethic and an innate desire to connect with their person — always giving 200%, with immense natural talent, athleticism and three very good gaits.

I always say: if Sanceo passes on his impeccable work ethic, incredible character, temperament, and athleticism, you will be in very good shape. You’ll have a highly trainable horse with quality gaits and a true desire for partnership with their rider."

We are hoping for a filly to retain from this star-studded pairing! If the foal is a colt, it will be offered.

CM Belissa SVS

Belissa SVS is a stunning, ultra feminine dark bay Hanoverian mare by Belissimo M (damsire Hohenstein). This mare has it all – looks, ability and attitude! Belissa had a highly successful dressage career with her then owner/rider, Terri Patton Rich, schooling Grand Prix and winning in competition up through Intermediate II.

Belissa’s sire and damsire bring two of the most sought-after dressage bloodlines to her spectacular pedigree. Her sire, the Rhinelander foundation stallion Belissimo M, proved his value as an international Grand Prix horse and captured the hearts of breeders around the world by passing on his beauty, rideability and athleticism to his offspring. Belissimo M was the 2018 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and has over 50 approved/licensed sons and over 80 state premium daughters.

Belissa’s damsire, Hohenstein, was declared Elite in 1999 due to his outstanding performance in both breeding and sport and was named the 2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year. He has produced 12 approved sons, most famously Munchausen and more recently, His Highness. He is also known for producing high-quality mares, including the state premium mares Heidefee and Honeymoon B.

Doubling down on an all-star dressage pedigree, Belissa is currently in foal by the dynamic young Hanoverian dressage stallion, Velantis N (Vitalis / Floriscount / Wolkentanz). We cannot wait to meet this foal in April, 2026!

PM TEMPEST BWS*/-/*

BREED: Oldenburg NA | DOB: 2018 | HEIGHT: 17 | WFFS: N/N

Tempest BWS ("Tempi") is a big, beautiful daughter of our foundation mare, Greetings (Gonzo I). Tempi inherited her mother's amazing work ethic and sweet temperament. She is a fabulous example of "sport horse" breeding, with fabulous gaits for dressage and a natural aptitude for jumping.

At only four years old and with just five months of training under her belt, Tempi aced her Oldenburg NA Mare Performance Test and was awarded Premium when inspected for the Mare Book. In October 2023 she was accepted into the American Hanoverian Society Main Mare Book and was named Site Champion Non-Hanoverian Mare. In October 2025, Tempi was named Champion of her AHS Mare Performance Test and earned the Premium Mare title.

Tempi's sire, E.S. Toronto, is a Dutch stallion acquired by the Celle State Stud to further the jumping talent of the breeding program. His performance test single score in jumping was 9.3. This powerful bay stallion descends from the jumping horse producer “Now or Never M,” who is stationed in Holland. Toronto's grandsire is the prepotent Voltaire, a consistent sire of international jumpers with temperaments of gold. The damline is also very interesting - Toronto's damsire is Belisar by Saros xx, who is a full brother to Swazi xx, the sire of the Trakehner stallion Consul.

Tempi's 2024 filly by Feinrich was named Top Foal at her AHS inspection and we are looking forward to starting her under saddle this year. We currently do not have plans to breed Tempi as she is pursuing her dressage career, but would consider a custom ET foal.

LUNA BWS

BREED: Oldenburg NA | DOB: 2017 | HEIGHT: 16.2 | WFFS: N/N

Luna is a stunning dark bay Oldenburg mare with a truly exquisite head. By Gatsby (Gonzo I) out of the Holsteiner mare Schefflera (Fabio I), Luna's bloodlines boast ancestors that excelled in many disciplines, making her a fine example of “sport horse” breeding. She has powerful, balanced gaits and a fabulous temperament that she has passed to her foals.

Luna was Champion Non-Hanoverian Mare at her American Hanoverian Society mare inspection in 2021 and was placed in the Main Mare book. In 2024, Luna earned Premium at her Oldenburg NA inspection and was added to the Mare Book. Her 2024 filly by Holsteiner stallion Central Time was inspected at the same time and also earned Premium.

Under saddle, Luna is willing and forward without being hot.  Although in training for dressage, she has shown significant aptitude for jumping and is keen to get out and cover some ground. Her bloodlines, skill set and temperament make her a fabulous dam for all disciplines. She is currently pursuing her training/show career but we are open to her having another foal at some point in the future.

Luna's sire is Gatsby, a 17hh black Oldenburg stallion by Gonzo I. Gatsby is known for passing on his uphill build, long legs, lovely neck/topline, beautiful head, laid back shoulder and strong loin connection. His offspring also tend to inherit his beautiful suspension, natural uphill movement, cadence, shoulder freedom and excellent canter.
